Cube App on Mac OS can't see connected Cube
I installed the Cube app (ZIP file off of the cube) and when I have the cube directly connected to the USB port on my Mac Mini it is accessible just fine from iPhotos but when I launch the Cube app, it does not see the cube.

I am having the same issue... I'm on a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.1.

Is polaroid working on a fix for this?

I had the same problem that everyone has described here. I was able to get it working by leaving the unzipped PolaroidCube.app file on the cube. Do not copy the app to your computer, just run it directly off the camera.

This works:

This DOES NOT work:

Hope that works for you too.

RE: Cube App on Mac OS can't see connected Cube
I have a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan.

When I plug the camera directly into the computer via USB, I also do not see anything come up. Sigh.

However, I WAS able to change settings on my cube, and here's how:
- Format your micro-SD card to FAT32 (disk utility calls it MS-DOS FAT)
- When you put a card in, it will automatically install the zip file with the polaroidcube.app on it
- Then take the card out of the cube and put the card directly into your Mac
- Unzip and run the polaroidcube.app (don't copy the app to your computer, just run it off of the card).
- You can set preferences and date/time.
- When you put the card back into the cube, it sets the new settings that you selected!

This did allow me to change the settings (THANK YOU!!). I also can't get my cube connected to my mac (so have to use a card reader each time I want to get photos/videos off.
