RE: Mounts for skiing
I both have the suction mount and the helmet mount, but haven't been able to test them yet. However, The helmet mount + waterproof housing are purposebuilt, so they seem the logical choice.

RE: Mounts for skiing
Ive used standard holder, camera detach from the holder is to easy.
http://www.polaroid.com/products/helmet-...aroid-cube

camera has no security rope. Helmet holder has solid m3 tape and it's hard to fall of helmet but cube can easly fall of from the holder. Temporrary i've used ribbon. One end ive put under camera cap and the second to the google holder in helmet. I have bad feeling about that holder and i have wright. During Snowboarding two times camera felt of the holder and hang on that ribbon. Camera should have security rope (as old cellphones when u coud use leash, thin fishing line). also holder could have some kind of security mechanism. Now when u fall, or someone dodge U, on SKI or snowboard u can easly lost it.
