What can you say about Polaroid Cube HD? Do you think that 99$ is good investition for the smallest sport camera?

I'm looking for reviews about it, but in internet there is no informations, only few rumors.

Thanks for advice Winking

RE: Polaroid Cube reviews
I have one. will be trying it on mountain bike trails

it lacks a screw mount, so mounting options are very limited, I will be
making my own mounts/holders...

bike mount is limited to specific diameter bars...that also needs some improvement

very light, very small, nice as a result

cannot swap batteries, downfall

---
so,

it can replace the bulk of a gopro, and it is far cheaper,
but it doesn't have as many options for mounting nor battery life

I say: this is ideal for someone who is a normal, non-redbull sponsored person and is great
if you are a professional videographer stick with gopros, but you are missing out if you
don't try the cube.

I like the fact it works great, simple, small and light. never wanted a gopro because
it is just another big thing to carry around.

cube fits the niche gopro cannot

RE: Polaroid Cube reviews
update

the bike mount squeaks a LOT and renders the audio stream useless

so...polaroid has to do something about the mount and the fact they
squeak a ton!

otherwise it is -ok-

RE: Polaroid Cube reviews
The size and shape are the main selling points of the Cube.
The camera requires a lot of light in order to produce a decent picture/video. It basically is a daytime camera.
Night time jpegs/videos are fair to poor depending on what you are looking for. Highlights are blown out.
I purchased the bicycle mount and the waterproof housing. I bought the Cube to take on vacation as an addition to my other family of digital cameras. I still have and use the Flip Video camera..another story.
The quality of both video and stills from the Cube are the same as any other pocket digital camera that sells for $99.00 USD
I also must say that after 3 hours of use, the Cube stopped working. It turns on and off but does not record video or stills. It's not the micro SD and it has been recharged so the problem lies elsewhere.
I threw out the warranty and all packaging much too early.. So basically, its a $99.00 cat toy. My cat does love it!
